Risks
Bleeding during or after removal and a small tear are uncommon, and are usually managed through the scope.

Can EMR avoid surgery?
For many early growths, yes. The final plan depends on the tissue report.
Will I need another colonoscopy?
Yes. A follow-up colonoscopy is advised, usually after 1 to 3 years depending on what was removed.
